Brown & Curry wins $1.5 million award for student sexual harassment victim.

A jury awarded a family of a Kansas City, Mo., girl $950,000 in damages for sexual harassment and battery and the court awarded an additional $554,000 in attorneys fees.  The plaintiff "D.W.", who was an 11-year-old at the time, asserted that her middle-school teacher sexually harassed her in the classroom.
